London: Staff at the Yorkshire Premier Airport Lounge, Leeds Bradford Airport, are today celebrating a top global award for their friendly service, customer interaction and helpful product knowledge. The lounge has won the ‘Best Staff’ category of the Priority Pass Lounge of the Year Awards, decided by the members of Priority Pass, the world’s largest independent airport VIP lounge access program.
Announcing the results, Jonathan French, head of brand, Priority Pass, says: “As we celebrate our 20th year of offering airport VIP lounge access to millions of frequent travellers around the world, we are very proud to have the Yorkshire Premier Airport Lounge in our programme and are delighted to be presenting them with the Priority Pass 2012 Lounge of the Year Award for ‘Best Staff’. The staff at the lounge truly deserve it - they are friendly, helpful and professional and have obviously made a magnificent impression on our members.”

The Priority Pass Lounge of the Year Awards, established in 2005, are designed to recognise service excellence amongst the lounges in the Priority Pass programme. The Yorkshire Premier Airport Lounge was singled out for honour amongst more than 1,600+ other airport lounges globally to win, with the award being based on over 40,000 ratings made by Priority Pass members from around the world. The Yorkshire Premier Airport Lounge has won the Priority Pass Best Staff Award.
The staff at the Yorkshire Premier Airport Lounge look after both business and leisure travellers. The lounge offers free Wi-Fi, internet access, plasma TVs, gaming consoles, snacks, drinks and, of course, Yorkshire Tea and delicacies.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Priority Pass is the world’s largest independent airport lounge access program. Launched in 1992 to provide all frequent travellers with airport lounge access, it began with 55 lounges in 49 countries. Priority Pass now offers access to more than 1,600+ airport VIP lounges worldwide in 600 cities in over 145 countries.
